Sugar-Free Irish Cream Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk (or milk of choice)
- 2 tbsp Syruvia Sugar-Free Irish Cream Syrup
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp sweetener (optional, to taste)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Whipped cream (sugar-free, for topping)
- Shaved chocolate or cocoa powder (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it’s hot but not boiling.
- Mix the Cocoa: In a separate small bowl, combine the cocoa powder with a bit of hot milk to make a smooth paste. Add this paste to the warm milk.
- Add the Irish Cream Syrup: Stir in the Syruvia Sugar-Free Irish Cream Syrup, allowing it to fully incorporate with the milk and cocoa.
- Sweeten (Optional): Taste your hot chocolate and add a sweetener (such as stevia or monk fruit) if you prefer it sweeter. Stir until dissolved.
- Flavor Boost: Add the vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
- Top with Whipped Cream: Pour the hot chocolate into your favorite mug, then top with sugar-free whipped cream.
