VANILLA COFFEE SYRUP

This sf vanilla is simply delicious!

It’s yummy.

Included pump is crap, but syrup flavor is great I drink coffee daily, and while I sometimes drink it black or with milk, I generally prefer some flavor. We go through a fair amount of coffee creamer, and I’ve contemplated buying syrup instead since we could also use it for cocktails. I decided to pull the trigger with this one, and my husband was as excited as I was.

When it arrived, the bottle had a screw top lid and the included pump was packaged separately. There was a crack in the lid that was on the bottle, but the bottle was shrink wrapped so tightly that nothing had leaked. I tested the pump before putting it in the bottle, making sure that it could be opened then screwed/locked back down (we’ve had issues with ants in the past). Outside of the bottle, the pump worked fine. Once I put it on the bottle however, it became near impossible to get the pump to screw back down. The only way I could get it to do so was to pull the pump out of the bottle, lock it in the down position, then put it back in the bottle…but then it leaked, slowly dripping out of the spout. During this process, most of my countertop was spritzed in vanilla syrup. In the end, I have to wrap the spout in a paper towel and use a twist tie to close it.

When it comes to the actual flavor of the syrup, it’s great. Like pure sugar deliciousness. It doesn’t taste artificial, and goes well in coffee and cocktails. I could easily source another pump, so while the issues I had with it were really annoying at the time, the flavor is the main thing to me - and this one is top notch.

I’m on my second bottle I like it so much. As a vanilla latte lover it’s perfect.
